Using Microsoft SharePoint Moss 2007 as an Educational Portal and Course Management System, we allow departments the ability to target content including announcements and deadlines to users based on their role (1st Year Student, Graduate Student, Staff, Faculty, etc.), improving the overall delivery and effectiveness of the message. This example shows a Registrar staff member creating an announcement for a 1st year law student and how that announcement will show on the students homepage. AppointLinks Portal Suite provides all users with a central location to access important information related to them.
